In June 2009, Abilene Hope Haven celebrated 15 years of service to individuals and families who experience homelessness. Nearly 2000 people have entered our transitional housing program since the first resident was accepted. Hope Haven offers people a place to live up to one year while they work to remedy their homeless situation. We do more than just offer people shelter, though. Abilene Hope Haven also provides food, clothing, transportation and supportive services. The goal for all our residents is to become self-sufficient, responsible and productive members of our community. |
