Life Skills Instructor
Residents in the program improve themselves by attending Life Skills classes offered by the program or by a community resource. These classes occur Monday through Thursday nights, 7:00 to 8:00 pm.
Life Skills are grouped into ten areas: family life, employment, health/nutrition, substance use/abuse, education, interpersonal issues, finances, housing, safety, and local resources.
If you are a professional in one of these areas and would like to teach a life skills class, your expertise and instruction are welcome. Some Life Skills classes are set up as a recurring series while others are one-time topics; either format is incredibly beneficial for our residents.
Please contact Missy Williams at (325) 677-4673 or mwilliams@abilenehopehaven.com if you would like to set up a time to teach a class.
